Matt Rantanen was named as an awardee within FCC Commissioner Geoffrey Starks’ DOER (DIGITAL OPPORTUNITY EQUITY RECOGNITION) program
On September 14, 2020, Matt Rantanen (a Director of Arcadian business development) was named as an awardee within FCC Commissioner Geoffrey Starks’ DOER (DIGITAL OPPORTUNITY EQUITY RECOGNITION) program. The DOER program recognizes the efforts of organizations and individuals to close the digital divide in communities without access to affordable, reliable broadband. Working with two others from another Arcadian partner (AMERIND Critical Infrastructure), Matt provided incredible support and facilitated outreach to over 400 tribal communities and assisted many tribes in applying for valuable 2.5 GHz spectrum through the FCC’s Rural Tribal Priority Window.
