Mr. Porterfield is a 30+ year veteran of the telecommunications industry, with more than 20 years of executive management experience with national and regional fiber network providers. He has held leadership positions with telecommunications subsidiaries of MCI, Metromedia, AT&T and PacTel. Prior to joining Arcadian, Mr. Porterfield was the founder and CEO of InterCarrier Networks, a carriers’ carrier operating fiber networks in Missouri, Illinois, Indiana and Kentucky.

Outside of work, and weather permitting, Mr. Porterfield enjoys long-distance road biking.
