Arcadian Names Cindy Howell as Senior Director of Government Relations
Sacramento, CA, May 7, 2024 – Arcadian, a critical information infrastructure development company, names Cindy Howell as Senior Director of Government Relations, expanding the Arcadian government relations team in Sacramento, California to support the Arcadian and California middle-mile public private partnership as part of the Middle Mile Broadband Initiative (MMBI). Cindy will be a direct report to Arcadian’s Vice President and General Counsel, Asim Raza.
As an attorney and lobbyist, Cindy brings 20+ years’ experience at the forefront of state government affairs, regulatory affairs, policy development, political strategy and advocacy in the energy, utilities, communications and corporate sectors within the State of California.
Most recently, Cindy served as the Founder and President of Howell Associates. Cindy previously held the role of West Region Vice President of Government Affairs for Charter Communications, a leading broadband company and cable operator in the United States. Cindy’s career accomplishments include leading the government affairs team on all aspects of legislative engagement, the decommissioning of San Onofre Nuclear Generation Station and labor relations as the Executive Director for Government Affairs at Southern California Edison, a California electric utility.

Cindy lives in Sacramento, California with her family. She is a certified wellness coach and personal trainer with a passion for fitness, food and travel.
